This summery autumn

Bits and bobs from this past week.  You know that feeling when you have so much to do you just don't know where so start? Well, I've been going through that phase for quite a while now and it's time to stop procrastinating because great things are just waiting to happen. (I will talk about that more in some future posts.) The song is from Broken Flowers soundtrack and it goes perfectly well with my mood. (Jim Jarmusch always picks the best music for his films.) Oh, and the last photo shows the progress of our homegrown cherry tomatoes. Keep your fantasies alive, lads and lasses!  ♫ Holly Golightly & The Greenhornes - There Is An End ♫

Thessaloniki wanderings

Some photos from yesterday. I absolutely adore this city.  It's so vibrant, interesting and full of history. One of my favourite things about this place is that the air in the city center always smells like baked cookies.

Birthday girl

Since I already celebrated on Saturday, today was more casual. Just me and my significant other in a Mexican restaurant having enchiladas and burritos. (The food photo was taken with smartphone, which explains the poor quality.) It was a good day and I feel very grateful.

Royal blue jeans

One of my favourite colours. I wore this tonight for a small concert (part of the Skopje Summer program). Although I'm not a fan of these new buildings and sculptures around the city, I realized they can be used for photo shoots, and with the right composition, transformed into something completely different. It was already dark, hence the noise on the photos, but I/we will do better next time. Actually, I like noise sometimes. It gives the photos that analog/vintage feel.

Maxi skirt for theatre night

My new DIY transparent maxi skirt... Yeah, do it yourself IF you know how to sew. Well, I don't, but fortunately my mother-in-law is a doll, so she made this one for me. I chose the materials (satin and georgette), described what I want, and voila. This is what I wore to the theatre tonight to watch Women without men, nothing more (The House of Bernarda Alba, written by Federico Garcia Lorca), directed by Sofija Ristevska. Crazy drama. I liked it.
