Subtle and stripped-down chic

Welcome to Höst restaurant, an ingenious space in Copenhagen created by Norm Architects and Menu (I've already wrote about one of their collaborations in my Clever Danish design post). The designers wanted to see if they could "find a balance where the interior, dinnerware (made especially for the restaurant) and the food told the same story, without it being too old-fashioned or too much of a theatrical backdrop".  The end result is a distinctly urban restaurant with obvious romantic and rural references.  If you want to know more about the philosophy behind Höst restaurant, be sure to visit New Norm.

Featured in the newspaper

Today, my work (a terrace in Italy) was published in the printed version of Croatian daily newspaper Jutarnji list.  In the article I spoke about my approach on designing exteriors in general, and about decorating this particular terrace. Thank you, editors!

The impeccable home

This is the home of industrial designer Morten Bo Jensen and his partner Kristina May Olsen, a graphic designer. I know that nothing is perfect, but this Copenhagen apartment got pretty close... The loft was once part of a pencil factory. Also, some furniture and artwork were designed by the owners. It's always nice to see a true passion for creating your own ideal living space, right?
